Wrangell's Basecamp

Lonnie & climbing partner Vern were dropped at basecamp in the Wrangell’s. They were flown in by 40 Mile Air with pilot Jake Combs who captured the shot from the flight below.


The tentative objective is an 11,000 foot unclimbed peak (no name) north Wrangell’s. The peak is located 20 miles west of Chisana in the Cross Creek Glacier area.


We'll update as the team calls in from the mountain.
