During the Kathmandu visit, the Vertical Nepal team had the chance to sit down with Miss Hawley (Elizabeth Hawley), a former US journalist and keeper of all things Himalayas. Here the team and Miss Hawley shared information regarding their routes and objectives for this trip.

The Vertical Nepal team has made it out of the chaos of the city and landed safely into Lukla. Soon after the initial descent upon Lukla, the team collected their bags and immediately began the trek into the mountainous regions of Nepal.
